“One thing that fills my heart with so much joy is hosting my closest friends and family,” says Brandi Bradbrook.

It was this passion that helped inspire her North Main dining room.

Brandi envisioned a warm, cozy spot for creating memories – conversation, laughter, games, and of course, delicious, shared meals.

She says the room is “a beautiful blend of function and aesthetics, loaded with textural and visual elements.”

Brandi says she has loved design since she was a child. Recently, she was able to pursue her childhood dream and start her own design business, KB Collaborative, alongside her business partner and friend, Kristena Watson. Each has their own individual design style, offering clients a wide variety of inspiring aesthetics when the duo curates spaces together.

1. Play with visual elements and textures, such as the complementing fabrics, natural woven rug, live edge table, and fluted oak front storage banquette used here.

2. Ground neutrals to allow a bold element to be showcased. In this room, the velvet cushions and black leather straps are the showstoppers.

3. Brass tones add warmth and contrast the boldness of the black and white.

4. Rounded details contrast with the rigidity of the room’s angles. Here, the round side table, planter, table riser, and round back chairs all add visual interest without repeating the same angles.

5. Incorporate fresh greenery always! The stems pictured were taken straight from Brandi’s own backyard.
