Klaussner is debuting the Trisha's Hometown collection, it’s seventh with celebrity Trisha Yearwood, at this week’s High Point Market.

HIGH POINT — This spring, Klaussner Home Furnishings is introducing its seventh furniture collection with Trisha Yearwood: Trisha’s Hometown.

Yearwood, a Grammy award-winning country singer/NYTimes Bestselling cookbook author/Emmy award winner, has been introducing home furnishings collections with Klaussner since 2015, and their duet shows no signs of slowing down.

Inspired by her childhood in a small Georgia town, Yearwood worked collaboratively with the Klaussner design team to create a collection that is both family-friendly and current.

According to Len Burke, vice president of marketing, Yearwood is not just a marquee celebrity lending her name to the company’s furniture line; she is deeply involved in the design process and is completely supportive of her partnership with Klaussner.

“With every collection, I keep that small-town girl in mind,” said Yearwood. “Trisha’s Hometown reminds me of the strength and integrity of the people who raised me. Like my father, who built me a bookcase when I got my first apartment, because he wanted me to have something sturdy that would last but wouldn’t break the bank. He believed in affordable quality, and that’s something he instilled in me.”

The 28-piece collection includes a sleigh bed, upholstered headboard and footboard in light neutral linen fabric, bedroom sets, three different dining chairs, a double-pedestal dining table, occasional tables, writing desk and a counter height table, among other pieces.

Case goods in the collection are constructed from hickory veneers with custom, antiqued hardware and a gently distressed espresso finish. By design, the pieces pair with furniture from Yearwood’s previous collections with Klaussner. The pieces are all expected to hit retail floors by the beginning of September.

“From the day we met Trisha, we knew we had something special,” said Burke. “Over the past seven years, Trisha has been instrumental in both the creation and marketing of the collections. We look forward to continuing our partnership with her for years to come.”

Retail reception at premarket was very strong, according to the company.

“Every case good retailer that we had in at Premarket has committed to the collection,” said Ben Radall, vice president of case goods.

Burke added, “From Day One, Trisha has been very involved, and she wanted to make sure all collections are an authentic reflection of her life and her approach. Our collections are inspired by Trisha and her life. She wants to provide our customers with a recipe for comfortable living focused on family, home and comfort.”

As a sign of the various Trisha Yearwood collections’ popularity, Klaussner continues to offer all pieces from previous years and dealers carry multiple Trisha Yearwood collections on their retail floors. The company believes so strongly in the Trisha Yearwood collaboration that it has just signed an agreement with Yearwood for an additional three years.

Klaussner Home Furnishings showroom is at 101 N. Hamilton St. in the Commerce Concourse at the High Point Market.
