Meghan Markle allegedly acted like a princess while dining at a hip eatery in NYC with Prince Harry.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were in New York City for the UN Assembly Monday. The Duchess of Sussex was spotted three times that day — at the UN assembly, having lunch out with a friend and enjoying dinner with Prince Harry and three pals. However, her evening outing raised some eyebrows.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle dined at the hip Italian restaurant Locanda Verde Monday night. During the outing, the Duchess of Sussex acted like "a princess," Page Six reported.

"[She] asked the people at Locanda Verde to have the entire inner outdoor courtyard – which seats 50 – for herself and four people, including Prince Harry," an anonymous source told the outlet. "The owners told her it had been reserved for a birthday party for 15 people and refused to bounce the party out of the space … they told her she’d need to sit inside, which she did."

There was reportedly security who warned the patrons dining at the eatery that they would be "asked to leave" if they attempted to take photos of the royal couple. Since Markle didn't get her request, the royal couple and their companions were reportedly seated "in the middle of the busy restaurant," according to the eyewitnesses.

The restaurant representative and the Duchess of Sussex's rep did not comment on her seating request. However, another source told the outlet that Prince Harry's wife only "requested a specific table in the dining room."

U.K. magazine Closer published a report about Meghan Markle and claimed that she was dubbed "The Princess of Montecito" by her neighbors in Santa Monica due to her excessive lifestyle. The outlet mentioned Prince Harry's wife as a foodie and how she allegedly makes requests before visiting an eatery.

"If she’s going into Beverly Hills or West Hollywood for lunch or dinner, she’ll generally call ahead and request a table that is completely secluded," an anonymous source told the outlet.

The report noted that Markle's favorite places before included the well-known gourmet sushi joints in the Downtown area or authentic Mexican places. However, these days, the Duchess of Sussex is allegedly into "higher-end hangouts like Cecconi’s, Sunset Tower, Sugarfish or Lucky’s steakhouse in Montecito, which was recommended to them by Oprah."

Markle and her pals reportedly love Nobu, and their bill could reach up to $5000, but they were "happy to pay."

The outlet made several other claims about the Duchess of Sussex, including her political dream and Prince Harry being a supportive husband — that he takes care of their children while she pursues her political career.

"With all this speculation around her political career ambitions, everyone thinks Harry would be happy at the idea of being First Gentleman if she accomplishes her long-term goal. Having said that, he might be fine with it right now – but you have to wonder for how much longer," the source added.
